Abstract
A thermoelectric module may include a fluid-tight housing having at least one thermoelectrically active element arranged therein. The at least one thermoelectrically active element may have a coating. The housing may form an outer encapsulation and the coating may form an inner encapsulation for the at least one thermoelectrically active element.
Claims20
A thermoelectric module, comprising:
- a fluid-tight housing having at least one thermoelectrically active element arranged therein, the at least one thermoelectrically active element having a coat, wherein the housing forms an outer encapsulation and the coating forms an inner encapsulation for the at least one thermoelectrically active element.
A method for producing a thermoelectric module, comprising:
- connecting at least one thermoelectrically active element to a first housing part and a second housing part;
- applying a coating to the at least one thermoelectrically active element;
- and
- joining the first housing part with the second housing part forming a fluid-tight housing, wherein the housing forms an outer encapsulation and the coating forms an inner encapsulation for the at least one thermoelectrically active element;
- wherein applying the coating takes place after connecting the thermoelectrically active element in the housing.
