Abstract
A method of aligning a stamp to a stamp backing plate includes mounting a fixture with a first alignment feature to a platen; providing a first stamp with a second alignment feature which matches the first alignment feature; aligning the first stamp to the fixture using the first and second alignment features; transferring the first stamp from the fixture to a first stamp backing plate maintaining registration; providing a second stamp with a third alignment feature which matches the first alignment feature; aligning the second stamp to the fixture using the first and third alignment features; and transferring the second stamp from the fixture to a second stamp backing plate maintaining registration.
Claims10
A method of aligning a stamp to a stamp backing plate comprising:
- mounting a fixture with a first alignment feature to a platen;
- providing a first stamp with a second alignment feature which matches the first alignment feature;
- aligning the first stamp to the fixture using the first and second alignment features;
- transferring the first stamp from the fixture to a first stamp backing plate maintaining registration;
- providing a second stamp with a third alignment feature which matches the first alignment feature;
- aligning the second stamp to the fixture using the first and third alignment features;
- and
- transferring the second stamp from the fixture to a second stamp backing plate maintaining registration.
