Abstract
Approaches for generating and displaying a predictive service timeline are provided wherein a plurality of graphical interface elements is generated based on past and future service events and the plurality of graphical interface elements is caused to be displayed along a graphical timeline, wherein the graphical interface elements are associated with dates on the graphical timeline.
Claims18
A method comprising:
- receiving a request to view service information for a vehicle;
- retrieving data associated with the vehicle based on the request, wherein the data comprises at least one past service event associated with the vehicle;
- determining a plurality of future service events based on the data;
- generating a plurality of graphical interface elements based on the at least one past service event and the plurality of future service events;
- and
- causing the plurality of graphical interface elements to be displayed along a graphical timeline, wherein the graphical interface elements are associated with dates on the graphical timeline.
A non-transitory machine-readable storage medium comprising instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a machine, cause the machine to perform operations comprising:
- receiving a request to view service information for a vehicle;
- retrieving data associated with the vehicle based on the request, wherein the data comprises at least one past service event associated with the vehicle;
- determining a plurality of future service events based on the data;
- generating a plurality of graphical interface elements based on the at least one past service event and the plurality of future service events;
- and
- causing the plurality of graphical interface elements to be displayed along a graphical timeline, wherein the graphical interface elements are associated with dates on the graphical timeline.
A system comprising:
- a module configured to receive a request to view service information for a vehicle;
- a module configured to retrieve data associated with the vehicle based on the request, wherein the data comprises at least one past service event associated with the vehicle;
- a module configured to determine a plurality of future service events based on the data;
- a module configured to generate a plurality of graphical interface elements based on the at least one past service event and the plurality of future service events;
- and
- a module configured to cause the plurality of graphical interface elements to be displayed along a graphical timeline, wherein the graphical interface elements are associated with dates on the graphical timeline.
