Abstract
A digital image of the object is captured and the object is recognized from plurality of objects in a database. An information address corresponding to the object is then used to access information and initiate communication pertinent to the object.

A portable hand-held transaction device comprising:
- a sensor configured to acquire data related to at least one credit card;
- a data processing computing platform coupled with the sensor and configured to:
- use the data to recognize that an information address is stored in a database;
- and
- use the address of information to obtain pertinent information associated with a selected account associated with the at least one credit card;
- and
- a terminal connection coupled with the data processing platform and configured to enable a terminal device to initiate a transaction with the selected account based on the pertinent information and by providing pertinent information to the terminal device.

A portable hand-held transaction device comprising:
- a sensor configured to acquire data related to at least one credit card;
- a data processing computing platform coupled with the sensor and configured to:
- obtain a location information representative of a location;
- use the data to recognize that an information address is stored in a database;

- use the address of information and the location information to obtain pertinent information associated with a selected account associated with the at least one credit card;
- and
- a terminal connection coupled with the data processing platform and configured to enable a terminal device to initiate a transaction with the selected account based on the pertinent information and the location information, and by providing pertinent information to the terminal device.
