A method for providing a downmix signal representation and an object-related parametric information on the basis of a plurality of object signals, the method comprising:

• providing one or more downmix signals in dependence on downmix coefficients associated with the object signals, such that the one or more downmix signals comprise a superposition of a plurality of object signals;
• and
• providing an inter-object-relationship side information describing level differences and correlation characteristics of object signals;
• and
• providing an individual-object side information describing one or more individual properties of the individual object signals.

An audio bitstream representing a plurality of object signals in an encoded form, the audio bitstream comprising:

• a downmix signal representation representing one or more downmix signals, wherein at least one of the downmix signals comprises a superposition of a plurality of object signals;
• and
• an inter-object-relationship side information describing level differences and correlation characteristics of object signals;
• and
• an individual-object side information describing one or more individual properties of the individual object signals.
