Battery monitoring network

A method for monitoring a battery, comprising:

• monitoring or storing one or more battery parameters of the battery via a battery monitoring system integrated within the battery;
• and
• transmitting data indicative of one or more battery parameters of the battery to a cloud-based computing network, wherein the cloud-based computing network is configured to interface with a plurality of battery monitoring systems, and comprises an internet connection.

A battery monitoring network, comprising:

• a battery;
• a battery monitoring system integrated within the battery, wherein the battery monitoring system comprises a diagnostic system configured to monitor or to store at least one characteristic of the battery, and a transmitter configured to transmit data indicative of the at least one characteristic of the battery;
• a cloud-based computing network comprising a remote server configured to receive the data indicative of the at least one characteristic of the battery, wherein the cloud-based computing network is configured to interface with a plurality of battery monitoring systems, and comprises an internet connection.
