Abstract

My invention is a unique personal workout machine which provides total body fitness opportunities for users of every fitness level from moderate to elite by engaging virtually every muscle group in the body in a single workout session, simultaneously benefitting cardio, calves, thighs, buttocks, core, back, neck, shoulders, upper arms, forearms, grip and balance. This invention's ability to provide such a comprehensive total body workout in a single workout session allows for substantially reduced workout time requirements. The components of this invention are an enclosed cycling mechanism with pedals extended from the housing, situated upon a support structure and combined with a separate forward-extending adjustable extension supporting hand-grips and arm-cushions, the overall mechanism requiring that the user's body be supported by the arms during cycling in each of the allowable body orientations.

What I claim as my invention is a design and machine which utilizes features of the traditional “exercycle” or “stationary bicycle” (such as foot and leg cycling capability combined with a hand-grip and forearm-cushion support structure):

but with an overall structural design change which eliminates the seat and extends the hand-grip and forearm-cushion support structure forward to an extent which requires that the typical “VERTICAL” and “L-SHAPED (recumbent)” body orientations of the user change to “HORIZONTAL (face down)” or “45 DEGREE” orientations;
with these new body orientations requiring that the body be supported by the arms during cycling and that the full body musculature remain in a constant state of engagement (see drawings), providing enhanced workout benefits for the total body combined with substantially reduced workout time requirements.
The Gravity Resistance Total Body Workout Machine is a completely new, unique and hyper-efficient approach to imbuing the fitness enthusiast with his or her maximum potential strength, flexibility and stamina utilizing a core-centric but absolutely total-body approach, achievable at an unparalleled time-to-benefit ratio.
