Abstract
Radio frequency (RF) front end circuitry includes one or more antenna ports, one or more RF switching ports, and an RF switch matrix coupled between the antenna ports and the RF front end ports. The RF switch matrix comprises a dual 4×4 multiplexer, and is adapted to selectively couple any one of the antennas to any one of the plurality of RF switching ports.

Radio frequency (RF) front end circuitry comprising:
- at least four antenna ports;
- a plurality of RF switching ports;
- and
- an RF switch matrix coupled between the at least four antenna ports and the plurality of RF switching ports, the RF switch matrix comprising a dual 4×4 multiplexer adapted to selectively couple any one of the at least four antenna ports to any one of the plurality of RF switching ports.

Mobile terminal front end circuitry comprising:
- transceiver circuitry;
- at least four antennas;
- duplexer and filtering circuitry;
- a plurality of power amplifiers coupled between the duplexer and filtering circuitry and the transceiver circuitry;
- a plurality of low-noise amplifiers coupled between the duplexer and filtering circuitry and the transceiver circuitry;
- and
- antenna switching circuitry comprising:
- an RF switch matrix coupled between the at least four antennas and the duplexer and filtering circuitry, the RF switch matrix adapted to selectively couple any one of the at least four antennas to any one of the plurality of power amplifiers or the plurality of low noise amplifiers through the duplexer and filtering circuitry.
