Abstract
A system and method for automatically identifying a region of interest in an image of a screen may include identifying a set of elements in the image and determining a respective set of regions, the set of regions respectively containing the set of elements; combining at least a first and second regions included in the set of regions to produce a composite region; and associating the composite region with an element in the image of the screen.
Claims22
A computer-implemented method for automatically identifying a region of interest in an image of a screen produced by an application, the method comprising:
- identifying a set of elements in the image and determining a respective set of regions, each of the set of regions respectively containing an element of the set of elements;
- combining at least a first and second regions included in the set of regions to produce a composite region;
- and
- associating the composite region with an element in the image of the screen.
An article comprising a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, having stored thereon instructions, that when executed by a processor, cause the processor to:
- identify set of elements in the image and determining a respective set of regions, each of the set of regions respectively containing an element of the set of elements;
- combine at least a first and second regions included in the set of regions to produce a composite region;
- and
- associate the composite region with an element in the image of the screen.
