Abstract
Methods relating to local injections of corticosteroids are provided. More specifically intralesional injections of corticosteroids and preferably Triamcinolone and its derivatives are suitable to produce medicaments to be injected in the subcutaneous fat at deep levels to provoke cosmetic lipoatrophy of small fat deposits on the face and body.

A method of decreasing the size of a small fat deposit comprising the steps of:
- identifying a small fat deposit of an individual to be decreased;
- and
- administering, to the individual, a sufficient amount of an injectable composition comprising a corticosteroid and a physiological acceptable medium the step of administering comprising the step of injecting the composition, using a needle, into the small fat deposit of the individual.
