Abstract
A method for enhancing infectivity of HCMV virus particles is provided.
Claims25
A method for production of virus particles in a virus-infected host cell comprising the step of contacting the cell with a compound that decreases activity of LRP1, wherein the virus particles produced in the cell in the presence of the compound display increased infectivity compared to virus particles produced in the cell in the absence of the compound.
