Abstract
This invention relates to use of manuka honey in the treatment of cancer. The invention is also directed to the combination of manuka honey with other chemotherapeutic agents to reduce the toxicity of the treatment.

A method of treating cancer in a patient comprising administering to the patient a pharmaceutically acceptable amount of a composition comprising manuka honey.
A method to reduce the toxicity of a chemotherapeutic agent in a patient comprising administering a composition comprising manuka honey to the patient.
