Abstract
In methods and apparatus for communications scheduling for at least one device in a first direction is determined by a controller. Information relating to the scheduling is communicated in at least one assignment associated with a second direction for use in configuring of data transmission in the first direction. After a device receives the assignment it determines from the assignment information relating to the scheduling and data transmissions in the first direction are configured based on the assignment associated with the second direction.
Claims33
A method for controlling communications in a first direction, comprising:
- receiving an assignment associated with a second direction,
- determining from the assignment associated with the second direction information relating to scheduling of transmissions in the first direction, and
- configuring data transmission in the first direction based on the assignment associated with the second direction.
A method for controlling communications in a first direction, comprising:
- determining scheduling for at least one device in the first direction, and
- sending information relating to the determined scheduling in at least one assignment associated with a second direction for use in configuring of data transmission in the first direction by the at least one device.
An apparatus for controlling communications in a first direction, the apparatus comprising at least one processor, and at least one memory including computer program code, wherein the at least one memory and the computer program code are configured, with the at least one processor, to
- process an assignment associated with a second direction to determine information relating to scheduling of transmissions in the first direction, and
- control configuration for data transmission in the first direction based on the information determined from the assignment associated with the second direction.
An apparatus for controlling communications in a first direction, the apparatus comprising at least one processor, and at least one memory including computer program code, wherein the at least one memory and the computer program code are configured, with the at least one processor, to
- determine scheduling for at least one device in the first direction, and
- cause sending of information relating to the determined scheduling in at least one assignment associated with a second direction for use in configuring of data transmission by the at least one device.
