Abstract
A disk drive device includes a stationary body, a rotating body on which a recording disk is to be mounted, and a fluid bearing unit that supports the rotating body in a freely rotatable manner relative to the stationary body. The fluid bearing unit includes a lubricant that is fluorescent.
Claims20
A disk drive device comprising:
- a stationary body;
- a rotating body including a disk mount part on which a recording disk is to be mounted;
- a lubricant that is fluorescent and is applied between the stationary body and the rotating body;
- and
- a gas-liquid interface contact part that is provided in at least either one of the stationary body and the rotating body, and contacts a gas-liquid interface of the lubricant.
A manufacturing method of a disk drive device that comprises a stationary body, a rotating body including a disk mount part on which a recording disk is to be mounted, a lubricant that is fluorescent and is applied between the stationary body and the rotating body, and a gas-liquid interface contact part that is provided in at least either one of the stationary body and the rotating body, and contacts a gas-liquid interface of the lubricant, the manufacturing method comprising a step for:
- emitting predetermined input light to at least a part of the disk drive device, and inspecting output light which is emitted in accordance with the input light and which has a different wavelength from a wavelength of the input light.
A manufacturing method of a disk drive device comprising a fluid bearing unit to which a lubricant is applied, the manufacturing method comprising:
- adding a luminous substance to the lubricant at a rate of 0.001 to 1 mass %;
- applying the lubricant in the fluid bearing unit;
- and
- emitting input light with a predetermined wavelength to the fluid bearing unit in a dark room.
