A display module includes a display panel, a diffusion plate, a bottom chassis, and a transparent spacer made having a diffusion pattern formed thereon disposed on the bottom chassis to support the diffusion plate.

- a display panel;
- a diffusion plate;
- a bottom chassis;
- and
- a spacer disposed on the bottom chassis configured to support the diffusion plate,
- wherein
- the spacer includes a first region configured to permit light transmission through the spacer, and a second region with a diffusion pattern configured to diffuse light.
