Abstract
An image capture apparatus includes an image capture unit configured to perform image capture to convert incident light into an electrical signal to generate one or more images; an image combining unit configured to combine a plurality of images generated by the image capture unit to generate an image having a size that is greater than or equal to an angle of view; and a mode decision unit configured to decide whether or not generating, performed by the image combining unit, the image having a size that is greater than or equal to the angle of view is optimum, on the oasis of the one or more images generated by the image capture unit.
Claims15
An image capture apparatus comprising:
- an image capture unit configured to perform image capture to convert incident light into an electrical signal to generate one or more images;
- an image combining unit configured to combine a plurality of images generated by the image capture unit to generate an image having a size that is greater than or equal to an angle of view;
- and
- a mode decision unit configured to decide whether or not generating, performed by the image combining unit, the image haying a size that is greater than or equal to the angle of view is optimum, on the basis of the one or more images generated by the image capture unit.
An image capture method comprising:
- performing image capture to convert incident light into an electrical signal to generate one or more images;
- and
- deciding whether or not generating an image having a size that is greater than or equal to an angle of view is optimum, on the basis of the generated one or more images.
An image capture program or causing a computer to execute an image capture method comprising:
- performing image-capture to convert incident light into an electrical signal to generate one or more images;
- and
- deciding whether or not generating an image having a size that is greater than or equal to an angle of view is optimum, on the basis of the generated one or more images.
