Touch-display control device and personal data assistant

An information terminal device, comprising:

• a display panel;
• a touch panel superposed on the display panel and enabling a touch detection according to a mutual capacitance technique;
• a display controller operable to perform display control of the display panel in synchronization with a frame synchronizing signal of a display frame;
• and
• a touch panel controller operable to drive the touch panel and perform a touch detection,
• wherein the display controller is capable of changing start timings of display and non-display periods in a cycle of the frame synchronizing signal in each cycle of the frame synchronizing signal or each sequence of cycles thereof, and
• the touch panel controller performs activation of the touch panel and touch detection in the non-display period.

An information terminal device, comprising:

• a display panel;
• a touch panel superposed on the display panel and enabling a touch detection according to a mutual capacitance technique;
• a display controller operable to perform display control of the display panel in synchronization with a frame synchronizing signal of a display frame;
• and
• a touch panel controller operable to drive the touch panel and perform a touch detection,
• wherein the display controller is capable of changing the arrangement of display and non-display periods in a cycle of the frame synchronizing signal, in each cycle of the frame synchronizing signal or each sequence of cycles thereof, and
• the touch panel controller performs the activation of the touch panel and the touch detection in the non-display period.
