Abstract
Promotional codes are printed using thermochromic inks in a manner that conceals the codes until a beverage or other article is cooled sufficiently to reveal the codes.
Claims11
A label that supports use of variable printing of indicia using thermochromic ink, comprising:
- a background ink having a first color;
- a thermochromic ink overlaying the background ink;
- and
- means for concealing indicia that is revealed when the thermochromic ink undergoes a color transition.
