Electro luminescence panel and method for manufacturing electro luminescence panel

A method for manufacturing an organic EL panel, the method comprising:

• forming organic EL elements each including an anode, an organic EL layer, and a cathode;
• and
• repairing an abnormal element in the organic EL elements, the organic EL elements including the abnormal element and a normal element,
• wherein the abnormal element includes a short-circuit portion at which the anode and the cathode short-circuit,
• the normal element does not include the short-circuit portion,
• the repairing the abnormal element includes forming a resistive portion which is (i) formed to be highly resistive by irradiating with a laser beam at least one of the anode, the organic EL layer, and the cathode included in the abnormal element, and (ii) positioned on a current pathway between the short-circuit portion and one of the anode and the cathode,
• in the normal element, the organic EL layer (i) emits light when a voltage higher than or equal to a first voltage is applied between the anode and the cathode, and (ii) does not emit light when a voltage lower than the first voltage is applied between the anode and the cathode, and
• in the abnormal element, the organic EL layer (i) emits light when a voltage higher than or equal to a second voltage is applied between the anode and the cathode, and (ii) does not emit light when a voltage lower than the second voltage is applied between the anode and the cathode, the second voltage being higher than the first voltage.
