A fowl management system is provided. The fowl management system includes a protected surface; a wire mesh at least partially suspended above the protected surface; wherein at least a portion of the wire mesh conducts an electrical current; a fence charger attached to the wire mesh; and a power source attached to the protected surface.

A fowl management system, comprising:
- a. a protected surface;
- b. a wire mesh at least partially suspended above the protected surface;
- wherein at least a portion of the wire mesh conducts an electrical current;
- c. a fence charger attached to the wire mesh;
- d. a power source attached to the protected surface;
- wherein at least a portion of the protected surface and at least a portion of the wire mesh are parallel or substantially parallel to each other.

A method for reducing or eliminating fowl waste from a protected surface, or preventing fowl from excreting on the protected surface, comprising the steps of:
- a. providing a fowl management system comprising:
- 1. a wire mesh at least partially suspended above the protected surface;

- 4. at least one insulator attached to the wire mesh
- wherein the protected surface and the wire mesh are parallel or substantially parallel to each other.
