Disclosed is a surgical glove that alleviates the biasing force associated with bending or abducting the hand and fingers when wearing a surgical glove.

A surgical glove comprising:
- one or more patterns to provide an additional length of material along a dorsal surface of at least one finger of the surgical glove, and
- wherein the additional length ranges between 5 mm and 40 mm.
