## Abstract

A foot-operated door opener including a base secured to a door and an extension having a top surface and a bottom surface. The foot-operated door is configured such that a door may be pulled open using either the top or bottom of a user's foot or foot covering.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A foot-operated door opener, comprising:
a single piece of material having a base portion and an extension portion;
wherein the base portion is configured to be attachable to a bottom of a door;
wherein the extension portion is configured to be engaged by at least one of a top surface of a foot covering and a bottom surface of the foot covering; and
wherein the door opener is configured such that a user can pull open a door to which the opener is attached.

The door opener of claim 1, wherein the single piece of material is made from one of stainless steel, aluminum, copper, plastic, composite, and carbon fiber.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The door opener of claim 1, wherein the extension portion is a wave shape.

The door opener of claim 1, wherein the extension portion is shaped in a smooth arc.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The door opener of claim 1, wherein the extension portion has a top surface and a bottom surface.

### Claim 6 (depends on 5)

The door opener of claim 5, wherein the extension portion has at least one side surface.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The door opener of claim 1, wherein the extension portion is configured to be engaged at either the top surface or the bottom surface.
