## Abstract

A device at pipes for the connection of pipes is provided. The device has an outer ring with first and second free ends, and a tensioning device for converging and interconnection of the first and second free ends of the outer ring. An inner ring is arranged on the inside of the outer ring, wherein the inner ring includes a first and a second part, and at least one of the first and second parts having a progressively increasing profile height.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A device at a pipe or a tube, for connecting of pipes and/or tubes, wherein the device comprises an outer ring with first and second free ends, a tensioning device for converging and connection of the first and second free ends of the out ring, wherein an inner ring is arranged on the inside of the outer ring, the inner ring comprises a first and a second part, and at least one of the first and the second parts has a varying profile height.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

A device according claim 1, wherein the first and/or second part of the inner ring has an increasing profile height in the direction away from its central part.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

A device according claim 1, wherein the first and/or second part of the inner ring has tapering ends.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

A device according to claim 1, wherein the first and second parts of the inner ring are shaped as half circle segments.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

A device according to claim 1, wherein the first and second parts of the inner ring both are profiled.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

A device according to claim 1, wherein either one of the first and second parts of the inner ring is preferably arranged symmetrically in abutment with the tensioning device.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

A device according to claim 1, wherein the outer ring has threaded portions provided at the first and second free ends of the outer ring, said threaded portions being interconnected by an elongate device with an outer threading.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

A device according to claim 1, wherein the outer ring is manufactured from a metal band, which is arranged double around the greater part of the periphery of the outer ring.
