## Abstract

A household appliance includes at least one control element for modifying at least one operating parameter of the household appliance. At least one modification of at least one operating parameter which modification has been executed last is resettable by a reset control element. In a method for operating a domestic appliance, a most recently executed modification of an operating parameter can be reset by an operator.

## Claims

### Claim at position 1

1-17. (canceled)

### Claim 18

A household appliance, comprising:
at least one control element for modifying at least one operating parameter of the household appliance, and
a reset control element configured to reset at least one modification of the at least one operating parameter most recently made.

### Claim 19 (depends on 18)

The household appliance of claim 18, wherein the reset control element is configured to reset a number of modifications recently made.

### Claim 20 (depends on 18)

The household appliance of claim 18, wherein the at least one operating parameter is modified as a result of an actuation of the control element.

### Claim 21 (depends on 18)

The household appliance of claim 18, wherein the at least one operating parameter is modified as a result of a number of actuations of the at least one control element carried out consecutively, wherein the number of actuations carried out consecutively do not exceed a first predefined period of time.

### Claim 22 (depends on 21)

The household appliance of claim 21, wherein the predefined first period of time amounts to at least three seconds.

### Claim 23 (depends on 18)

The household appliance of claim 18, wherein the at least one modification is resettable up to a predefined second period of time.

### Claim 24 (depends on 23)

The household appliance of claim 23, wherein the predefined second period of time is approximately five minutes.

### Claim 25 (depends on 18)

The household appliance of claim 18, wherein the at least one modification is resettable after the household appliance has been switched off, up to a third predefined period of time.

### Claim 26 (depends on 18)

The household appliance of claim 18, wherein the reset control element is configured to reset plural modifications of the at least one operating parameter, with a first number of the plural modifications being resettable and a second number of the plural modifications being not resettable.

### Claim 27 (depends on 18)

The household appliance of claim 18, wherein the reset control element is configured to initiate a reset of the modification of the at least one operating parameter only in the absence of an incorrect actuation.

### Claim 28 (depends on 18)

The household appliance of claim 18, further comprising a memory device coupled to the reset control element, said memory device being configured to store the at least one modification most recently made and to restore the at least one modification by actuation of the reset control element.

### Claim 29 (depends on 18)

The household appliance of claim 18, wherein the at least one operating parameter is stored with each modification which it undergoes.

### Claim 30 (depends on 29)

The household appliance of claim 29, wherein the at least one operating parameter is at least one current period of time.

### Claim 31 (depends on 28)

The household appliance of claim 28, wherein the memory device is configured to automatically erase storage of the at least one modification, when the at least one operating parameter has not been changed by the modification.

### Claim 32 (depends on 18)

The household appliance of claim 18, wherein storage of the at least one modification is executed without consideration of at least one current period of time.

### Claim 33 (depends on 18)

The household appliance of claim 18, constructed in the form of a cooking device with a cooktop.

### Claim 34 (depends on 26)

The household appliance of claim 26, wherein the first number of modifications is selected from the group consisting of adjustment of a heat setting, adjustment of a zone addition, adjustment of a heat boost and adjustment of a timer time, when the household appliance is constructed in the form of a cooking device with a cooktop.

### Claim 35 (depends on 26)

The household appliance of claim 26, wherein the second number of modifications is selected from the group consisting of activation of a timer, activation of a roasting sensor system, activation of an automatic program system, activation of a selection/menu button, activation of a child lock, activation of a wipe protection and activation of a hotplate by actuating a main switch, when the household appliance is constructed in the form of a cooking device with a cooktop.

### Claim 36

A method for operating a domestic appliance, comprising resetting a most recently executed modification of an operating parameter by an operator.

### Claim 37 (depends on 36)

The method of claim 36, wherein the at least one modification is resettable at least during normal operation.
