## Abstract

The present invention generally relates to anhydrous emulsions containing an oil-soluble polar modified polymer and polylysine.

## Claims

### Claim 1

An emulsion comprising an anhydrous solvent-in-oil emulsion comprising:
(a) anhydrous solvent;
(b) at least one polylysine; and
(c) at least one polar modified polymer selected from the group consisting of:
(1) a low carbon oil-soluble polar modified polymer comprising at least one C2-C4 monomer and modified with at least one hydrophilic unit, and having a weight-average molecular weight of less than or equal to 25 000 g/mol and a melting point above 75° C.;
(2) an high carbon oil-soluble polar modified polymer comprising at least one C22-C40 monomer and modified with at least one hydrophilic unit, and having a weight-average molecular weight of less than or equal to 30000 g/mol and a crystallinity of 8% to 60%; and
(3) mixtures thereof.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The emulsion of claim 1, wherein the emulsion comprises at least one low carbon oil-soluble polar modified polymer comprising at least one C2-C4 monomer and modified with at least one hydrophilic unit, and having a weight-average molecular weight of less than or equal to 25 000 g/mol and a melting point above 75° C.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The emulsion of claim 2, wherein the at least one low carbon oil-soluble polar modified polymer consists essentially of polypropylene and maleic anhydride units.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The emulsion of claim 1, wherein the composition comprises at least one oil-soluble high carbon polar modified polymer comprising at least one C26-C28 monomer and modified with at least one hydrophilic unit, and having a weight-average molecular weight of less than or equal to 30000 g/mol and a crystallinity of 8% to 60%.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

The emulsion of claim 4, wherein the at least one high carbon oil-soluble polar modified polymer consists essentially of C26-C28 alpha olefin and maleic acid anhydride units.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The emulsion of claim 1, further comprising at least one coloring agent.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The emulsion of claim 1, wherein the emulsion is made using from 0.01 to 20% by weight, based on the weight of the emulsion, of the polylysine.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The emulsion of claim 1, wherein the emulsion is made using from 0.05 to 15% by weight, based on the weight of the emulsion, of the polylysine.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The emulsion of claim 1, wherein the emulsion is made using from 1 to 70% by weight, based on the weight of the emulsion, of the oil-soluble polar modified polymer.

### Claim 10 (depends on 1)

The emulsion of claim 1, wherein the anhydrous solvent is a polyol selected from the group consisting of glycerol, propylene glycol, butylene glycol, and mixtures thereof.

### Claim 11 (depends on 1)

The emulsion of claim 1, further comprising at least one surfactant.

### Claim 12 (depends on 1)

The emulsion of claim 1, in the form of a solvent-in-oil emulsion.

### Claim 13 (depends on 1)

The emulsion of claim 1, in the form of a solvent-in-oil-in-water emulsion.

### Claim 14 (depends on 1)
