## Abstract

An aqueous electrolyte battery is provided with a positive electrode, a negative electrolyte, an aqueous electrolyte, and a deposition portion that promotes deposition of discharge product and that is provided at a location that contacts the aqueous electrolyte and that is a location other than at a catalyst included in the positive electrode.

## Claims

### Claim 1

An aqueous electrolyte battery comprising:
a positive electrode that includes a positive electrode catalyst;
a negative electrode;
an aqueous electrolyte;
a case in which the positive electrode, the negative electrode and the aqueous electrolyte are housed;
a structure that is provided between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and is configured to be impregnated with the aqueous electrolyte; and
crystal growth nuclei scattered about inside the structure.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The aqueous electrolyte battery according to claim 1, wherein:
each of the crystal growth nuclei is a particle that is 0.5 μm to 3000 μm in size.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The aqueous electrolyte battery according to claim 1, wherein:
each of the crystal growth nuclei is a fiber that is 0.5 μm to 3000 μm in length and is 0.1 μm to 1000 μm in diameter.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The aqueous electrolyte battery according to claim 1, wherein:
the structure is constituted by a plurality of fibers, and
the crystal growth nuclei are provided between the plurality of the fibers.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The aqueous electrolyte battery according to claim 1, wherein:
the structure is constituted by a plurality of films, and
the crystal growth nuclei are provided between the plurality of the films.
