## Abstract

An image processing apparatus includes a display control unit configured to scroll a plurality of pieces of content data, a prediction unit configured to predict which content data among the plurality of pieces of content data moves from a hidden area to a display area according to a scroll display control condition controlled by the display control unit, and a decoding unit configured to decode the content data predicted by the prediction unit before the predicted content data moves to the display area.

### Claim 1

An image processing apparatus comprising:
a display control unit configured to scroll a plurality of pieces of content data;
a prediction unit configured to predict which content data among the plurality of pieces of content data moves from a hidden area to a display area according to a scroll display control condition controlled by the display control unit; and
a decoding unit configured to decode the content data predicted by the prediction unit before the predicted content data moves to the display area.
