## Abstract

Provided are improvements for systems and methods of alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC) power regulation. The system improvements include a regulation circuit having a microprocessor that controls a silicon controlled rectifier circuit. Method improvements include one or more of SCR load sharing, adaptive voltage droop compensation, and/or voltage rebound compensation.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method comprising the steps of: using a microprocessor,
sensing a battery voltage level;
sensing a plurality of phases of alternating current received at a plurality of phase inputs;
comparing the battery voltage level to a predetermined rower charge limit value; and,
if the battery voltage level is less than the lower charge limit value, activating each of a plurality of silicon controlled rectifiers in an alternating fashion, where such activation is substantially synchronized to predetermined states of at least one of a plurality of alternating current electronic signals received at the plurality of phase inputs.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

A method according to claim 1, wherein the activation of each of the plurality of silicon controlled rectifiers is at least partially determined by a comparison, performed by the microprocessor, of a multi-state counter to a predetermined value.
