## Abstract

A stator includes a stator core, a winding, and a temperature sensor. In the stator core, a plurality of slots are formed in a circumferential direction of the stator. The winding is formed by a plurality of conductors which are housed in the slots and are electrically connected. The slots are formed such that a predetermined number of the conductors are housed and arrayed in a radial direction of the stator. The temperature sensor is located in at least one of the slots and detects temperature of the conductors.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A stator, comprising:
a stator core in which a plurality of slots are formed in a circumferential direction of the stator;
a winding that is formed by a plurality of conductors which are housed in the slots and are electrically connected, the slots being formed such that a predetermined number of the conductors are housed and arrayed in a radial direction of the stator; and
a temperature sensor that is located in at least one of the slots and detects temperature of the conductors.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The stator according to claim 1, further including:
a plurality of wedges that are fitted into the slots,
the temperature sensor being provided in at least one of the wedges.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The stator according to claim 2, wherein:
the at least one of the wedges is provided with a notch; and
the temperature sensor is located in the notch.

### Claim 4 (depends on 2)

The stator according to claim 2, wherein
the at least one of the wedges is provided between a radial-direction end surface of the arrayed conductors and a radial-direction wall surface of at least one of the slots opposing the radial-direction end surface of the arrayed conductors.

### Claim 5 (depends on 2)

The stator according to claim 2, wherein
the at least one of the wedges is provided between a circumferential-direction side surface of the arrayed conductors and a circumferential-direction wall surface of at least one of the slots opposing the circumferential-direction side surface of the arrayed conductors.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The stator according to claim 1, wherein
the temperature sensor is located in at least one of a plurality of spaces formed by pulling out the wedges from the slots, after an impregnating process using an insulating resin is performed in a state where the wedges are fitted into the slots such that the conductors are fixed in the slots.

### Claim 7 (depends on 3)

The stator according to claim 3, wherein
the at least one of the wedges is provided between a radial-direction end surface of the arrayed conductors and a radial-direction wall surface of at least one of the slots opposing the radial-direction end surface of the arrayed conductors.

### Claim 8 (depends on 3)

The stator according to claim 3, wherein
the at least one of the wedges is provided between a circumferential-direction side surface of the arrayed conductors and a circumferential-direction wall surface of at least one of the slots opposing the circumferential-direction side surface of the arrayed conductors.
