## Abstract

It is an object to provide an electric power tool with improved workability in a dark place. In an electric power tool that includes a housing extending in a longitudinal direction and accommodating a motor, a spindle driven by the motor and protruding downward from a front end of the housing, and a distal end tool coupled to an end of the spindle, a light-emitting diode (LED) capable of emitting light downward is provided in an upper part of a front of the housing. The LED is disposed rearward of a front end face of the housing in the longitudinal direction.

## Claims

### Claim 1

An electric power tool, comprising:
a housing extending in a longitudinal direction;
a motor accommodated in the housing;
an output shaft that protrudes downward from a front end of the housing and that is driven by the motor;
a distal end tool coupled to an end of the output shaft; and
a lighting body provided in an upper part of a front of the housing and capable of configured to emit light downward.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The electric power tool according to claim 1, wherein
the lighting body is disposed rearward of a front end face of the housing in the longitudinal direction.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)
