Abstract
An image display apparatus and a method for operating the same are disclosed. The image display apparatus includes a display configured to display a chat window and to display input conversation content in the chat window, a communication unit configured to receive direction information and distance information of one or more other users, and a controller configured to control display of an object indicating location information including at least one of direction information and distance information of the one or more other users in the chat window. Accordingly, it is possible to increase user convenience.
Claims20
An image display apparatus comprising:
- a display configured to display a chat window and to display input conversation content in the chat window;
- a communication unit configured to receive direction information and distance information of one or more other users;
- and
- a controller configured to control display of an object indicating location information including at least one of direction information and distance information of the one or more other users in the chat window.
A method for operating an image display apparatus, the method comprising:
- displaying a chat window;
- displaying input conversation content in the chat window;
- and
- displaying an object indicating location information including at least one of direction information and distance information of one or more other users in the chat window.
