Method and system for controlling external device

A device for controlling an external device, the device comprising:

• a storage unit configured to store information regarding at least one external device and at least one program;
• a communication unit configured to communicate with the at least one external device and another device;
• a touch screen configured to receive user input information and output information according to executing the at least one program;
• and
• a processor configured to provide touch screen based UI information and authorize the other device to temporarily control the at least one external device by executing the at least one program,
• wherein the at least one program comprises commands that upon execution:
• transmit information regarding the at least one external device to the other device while an interactive service is executed between the device and the other device through the communication unit;
• receive information regarding a selected external device based on the information regarding the at least one external device from the other device through the communication unit;
• and
• transmit control UI information regarding the selected external device to the other device through the communication unit based on the information regarding the selected external device.

A non-transitory computer readable recording medium storing one or more programs comprising commands, when executed by a processor, to perform an external device control method, the external device control method comprising:

• transmitting information regarding at least one external device to a second device while an interactive service is executed between a first device and the second device;
• receiving information regarding a selected external device based on the information regarding the at least one external device from the second device;
• and
• transmitting control UI information regarding the selected external device to the second device based on the information regarding the selected external device.

An external device control method comprising:

• receiving and displaying information regarding at least one external device from a first device while an interactive service is executed between the first device and a second device;
• transmitting information regarding a selected external device based on the displayed information regarding the at least one external device to the first device;
• receiving and displaying control UI information regarding the selected external device based on the information regarding the selected external device from the first device;
• and
• transmitting a control command based on the displayed control UI information to the selected external device.

A device for controlling an external device, the device comprising:

• a storage unit configured to store at least one program;
• a touch screen configured to receive user input information and display information by executing the at least one program;
• a communication unit configured to communicate with another device and at least one external device of which control is authorized to the other device;
• and
• a processor configured to provide a touch screen based UI and that is authorized to temporarily control the at least other device by executing the at least one program,
• wherein the at least one program comprises commands that upon execution:
• receive and display information regarding the at least one external device from the other device while an interactive service is executed between the device and the other device;
• transmitting information regarding a selected external device based on the displayed information regarding the at least one external device to the other device;
• receive and display control UI information regarding the selected external device based on the information regarding the selected external device from the other device;
• and
• transmit a control command based on the displayed control UI information to the selected external device.

A non-transitory computer readable recording medium storing one or more programs comprising commands, when executed by a processor, to perform an external device control method, the external device control method comprising:

• receiving and displaying information regarding at least one external device from a first device while an interactive service is executed between the first device and a second device;
• transmitting information regarding a selected external device based on the displayed information regarding the at least one external device to the first device;
• receiving and displaying control UI information regarding the selected external device based on the information regarding the selected external device from the first device;
• and
• transmitting a control command based on the displayed control UI information to the selected external device.
