Abstract
The invention relates to the field of music therapy. In particular the invention is related to a method for producing a personalized database of sounds and music tracks by filtering and combining personal and hospital databases of sounds which induces variations of the physiological state of a listener.
Claims13
A computer-implemented method of producing a personalized sounds database comprising:
- determining preferred values of sound features of elements of a first database (D1) comprising elements, such as sounds, thereby creating a first filter (F2);
- applying said first filter (F2) to a second database (D2) comprising elements, such as sounds, thereby producing a filtered second database (D4);
- applying a second filter (F1) to a first database (D1) comprising elements, such as sounds, thereby producing a filtered first database (D3);
- and
- combining said filtered first database (D3) with said filtered second database (D4), thereby providing said personalized sounds database (D5).

A computer based system for producing a personalized sounds database comprising:
- at least one electronic data processor;
- a data communication interface connected to said data processor;
- wherein said computer based system is configured to:
- determine preferred values of sound features of elements of a first database (D1) comprising elements, such as sounds, thereby creating a first filter;
- apply said first filter (F2) to a second database (D2) comprising elements, such as sounds, thereby producing a filtered second database (D4), wherein said computer based system is configured to apply a second filter (F1) to a first database (D1) comprising elements, such as sounds, thereby producing a filtered first database (D3), and wherein said computer based system is configured to combine said filtered first database (D3) with said filtered second database (D4), thereby providing said personalized sounds database (D5).
