Abstract
A system and method for allowing a consumer to quickly access product information and/or commerce functionalities as related to one or more products that are associated with an electronic document, such as a web page, that is currently being viewed by the consumer in an electronic document viewing program, such as an Internet browser.

A non-transient computer-readable media having computer executable instructions stored thereon which, when executed by a processing device, provide product information to a consumer, the instructions performing steps comprising:
- receiving input from the consumer wherein the input is indicative of a selection of information within a first vendor web page that is currently being viewed by the consumer;
- causing, in response to the input, a retrieval of second vendor product information that has been cross-referenced to the information selected within the first vendor web page that is currently being viewed by the consumer;
- and
- causing the retrieved second vendor product information to be presented with the first vendor web page that is currently being viewed by the consumer.
