Claims16
-15. (canceled)
An apparatus comprising:
- a capsule comprising molecules of a therapeutic agent;
- and
- a nanochannel delivery device configured to control a diffusion rate of the molecules of the therapeutic agent from the capsule, wherein:
- the capsule is configured to allow in vivo injection of the therapeutic agent into the capsule when the capsule is implanted in a patient;
- and
- the capsule is configured to allow in vivo withdrawal of the therapeutic agent from the capsule when the capsule is implanted in a patient.
3 more elements
A method of in vivo refilling of a therapeutic agent contained in a capsule, the method comprising:
- accessing the capsule in vivo with a first lumen and a second lumen;
- injecting the therapeutic agent into the capsule through the first lumen;
- and
- extracting the therapeutic agent from the capsule through the second lumen, wherein extracting the therapeutic agent from the capsule through the second lumen and injecting the therapeutic agent into the capsule through the first lumen are performed at the same time.
