Abstract
Disclosed herein are multilayer golf balls having a layer with a higher Shore C hardness and a lower Shore D hardness than another layer.
Claims15
A golf ball comprising:
- a first layer formed from a first composition and a second layer formed from a second composition,
- wherein the Shore C hardness of the first composition is greater than the Shore C hardness of the second composition, and
- wherein the Shore D hardness of the first composition is less than the Shore D hardness of the second composition.
A golf ball comprising:
- a solid, single layer core,
- an inner cover layer, and
- an outer cover layer,
- wherein the Shore C hardness of the core is greater than the Shore C hardness of the inner cover layer, and
- wherein the Shore D hardness of the core is less than the Shore D hardness of the inner cover layer.

- an outer core layer,
- an inner cover layer, and
- an outer cover layer,
- wherein the Shore C hardness of the outer core layer is greater than the Shore C hardness of the inner cover layer, and
- wherein the Shore D hardness of the outer core layer is less than the Shore D hardness of the inner cover layer.
