Abstract
A sealed container (1) includes: a metal container (3) including an opening portion (5) and a first internal space that is reduced in pressure; a solid matter (4) contained in the first internal space of the metal container; and a sealing member (2) made of glass containing at least alkali earth metal oxide or alkali metal oxide, and the sealing member is melted by heating and solidified by cooling to be joined to and seal the opening portion of the metal container.
Claims19
A sealed container comprising:
- a metal container including an opening portion and a first internal space that is reduced in pressure;
- a solid matter contained in the first internal space of the metal container;
- and
- a sealing member made of glass containing at least alkali earth metal oxide or alkali metal oxide, wherein
- the sealing member is melted by heating and then solidified by cooling to be joined to and seal the opening portion of the metal container.
A method of manufacturing a sealed container, comprising:
- containing a solid matter in a first internal space of a metal container;
- and
- sealing an opening portion of the metal container by a sealing member, made of glass containing at least alkali earth metal oxide or alkali metal oxide, in such a manner that while reducing pressure of the first internal space of the metal container, the sealing member is melted by heating and solidified by cooling to be joined to the opening portion of the metal container.
