Abstract
The invention relates to the use of compounds that act on N-alpha acyl glutamine amino acylase enzyme expressed by coryneform bacteria to exert a malodour-counteracting effect, in a composition or article of manufacture suitable for reducing, suppressing or eliminating malodour on inanimate surfaces. The compounds, in particular, may be N-acyl glutamine derivatives.
Claims19
A method for reducing, suppressing or eliminating malodour on inanimate surfaces, comprising incorporating in a composition or article of manufacture, a compound that acts on N alpha acyl glutamine amino acylase enzyme expressed by coryneform bacteria to exert a malodour-counteracting effect.
A composition or article of manufacture adapted to freshen, or reduce, suppress or eliminate malodour on inanimate surfaces comprising a compound that acts on N alpha acyl glutamine amino acylase enzyme expressed by coryneform bacteria to exert a malodour-counteracting effect.
