Abstract
Various embodiments are generally directed toward a viewing device using and steering of collimated light to separately paint detected eye regions of multiple persons to provide them with 3D imagery. A viewing device includes an image panel to cause collimated light to convey multiple pixels of one of a left side frame and a right side frame associated with a frame of 3D imagery, and a steering assembly to steer the collimated light towards an eye to paint an eye region of a face that includes the eye. Other embodiments are described and claimed herein.
Claims29
A device comprising:
- an image panel to cause collimated light to convey multiple pixels of one of a left side frame and a right side frame associated with a frame of a three-dimensional (3D) image;
- and
- a steering assembly to steer the collimated light towards an eye to paint an eye region of a face that includes the eye.
A device comprising:
- a camera to capture an image of a face in a field of view of the camera;
- and
- a steering assembly to steer collimated light to paint a first eye region of the face with the collimated light, the collimated light caused to convey pixels of one of a left side frame and a right side frame associated with a frame of a three-dimensional (3D) image.
A computer-implemented method comprising:
- capturing an image of a face;
- identifying a first eye of the face;
- and
- painting a first eye region of the face that covers the first eye with collimated light conveying pixels of one of a left side frame and a right side frame associated with a frame of a three-dimensional (3D) image.
At least one machine-readable storage medium comprising instructions that when executed by a computing device, cause the computing device to:
- capture an image of a face in a field of view of a camera;
- and
- steer collimated light to paint a first eye region of the face with the collimated light, the collimated light caused to convey pixels of one of a left side frame and a right side frame associated with a frame of a three-dimensional (3D) image.
