Abstract
A method, apparatus, and computer program product are provided to facilitate sharing of content between various computing devices. In the context of a method, an image of an external apparatus is received that includes information presented upon a display of the external apparatus. The method may also cause a content request to be provided that requests content upon which the information presented upon the display of the external apparatus is based. In response to the request, the method may receive the content upon which the information presented upon the display of the external apparatus is based.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- receiving an image of an external apparatus including information presented upon a display of the external apparatus;
- causing, with a processor, a content request to be provided that requests content upon which the information presented upon the display of the external apparatus is based;
- and
- in response to the request, receiving the content upon which the information presented upon the display of the external apparatus is based.
An apparatus comprising at least one processor and at least one memory including computer program code, the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the processor, cause the apparatus to at least:
- receive an image of an external apparatus including information presented upon a display of the external apparatus;
- cause a content request to be provided that requests content upon which the information presented upon the display of the external apparatus is based;
- and
- in response to the request, receive the content upon which the information presented upon the display of the external apparatus is based.
A computer program product comprising at least one non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having computer-executable program code portions stored therein, the computer-executable program code portions comprising program code instructions for:
- receiving an image of an external apparatus including information presented upon a display of the external apparatus;
- causing a content request to be provided that requests content upon which the information presented upon the display of the external apparatus is based;
- and
- in response to the request, receiving the content upon which the information presented upon the display of the external apparatus is based.
