Method for Managing a System of Geographical Information Adapted for Use With at Least One Pointing Device, With Creation of Associations Between Digital Objects

A computer-readable and non-transient storage medium storing a computer program comprising a set of instructions executable by a computer or a processor of a central unit for implementing a method for managing a geographical information system adapted for use with at least one pointing device, wherein the instructions comprise:

• instructions configured to access a data base containing a plurality of digital objects with the central unit, each digital object possessing an identifier and being defined in the data base by a geometrical component defining a geographical position and by a descriptive component defining at least one descriptive attribute;
• and
• instructions configured to determine, with the central unit, as a function of the geometrical components of the digital objects and information on a position and an orientation of a given pointing device, whether the position of one of the digital objects is pointed at by the given pointing device, and
• instructions configured to create, with the central unit, an association between at least two digital objects contained in said data base, in order to form a group of associated digital objects.
