Abstract
A terminal includes a first battery to supply power to the terminal if a power level of the first battery is above a first reference threshold, a second battery to supply power to the terminal if the power level of the first battery is below the first reference threshold, and a switch to connect at least one of the first battery and the second battery to power the terminal based on the power level of the first battery, in which the first battery is detachable from the terminal.

A terminal, comprising:
- a first battery to supply power to the terminal if a power level of the first battery is above a first reference threshold;
- a second battery to supply power to the terminal if the power level of the first battery is below the first reference threshold;
- and
- a switch to connect at least one of the first battery and the second battery to power the terminal based on the power level of the first battery,
- wherein the first battery is detachable from the terminal.

- determining whether a first battery is connected to the terminal;
- determining whether the first battery has a power level below a reference threshold if the first battery is connected to the terminal;
- and
- switching supply of power from the first battery to a second battery if the first battery is not connected to the terminal or determined to have a power level below the reference threshold.
