Abstract
Above a belt line, a motor vehicle body exhibits a windshield segment, a rear segment and a roof segment that is connected with the rear segment so that it can be displaced in a displacement direction, which in a first configuration bridges an intermediate space between the windshield segment and rear segment, and in a second configuration overlaps the rear segment. The roof segment can be swiveled out of the first configuration around a roof segment axis into an intermediate position, in which a rear edge of the roof segment extends in the displacement direction under a front edge of the rear segment without any overlap.

A motor vehicle body that above a belt line comprises:
- a windshield segment;
- a rear segment;
- and
- a roof segment that is connected with the rear segment and displaceable in a displacement direction,
- wherein in a first configuration bridges an intermediate space between the windshield segment and rear segment,
- wherein in a second configuration overlaps the rear segment, and
- wherein the roof segment is configured to swivel out of the first configuration around a roof segment axis into an intermediate position, in which a rear edge of the roof segment extends in the displacement direction under a front edge of the rear segment without any overlap.
