Abstract
An organic light emitting diode (OLED) display is disclosed. In one aspect, the display includes a substrate having a plurality of pixel areas, color filters respectively disposed in the pixel areas, a passivation layer disposed on the color filters, a first electrode disposed on the passivation layer. The display also includes a light emitting layer disposed on the first electrode and a second electrode disposed on the light emitting layer. At least a portion of the color filters is provided with a concavo-convex pattern formed on an upper surface thereof.
Claims19
An organic light emitting diode (OLED) display comprising:
- a substrate comprising a plurality of pixel areas;
- a plurality of color filters respectively disposed in the pixel areas;
- a passivation layer disposed on the color filters;
- a first electrode disposed on the passivation layer;
- a light emitting layer disposed on the first electrode;
- and
- a second electrode disposed on the light emitting layer,
- wherein a concavo-convex pattern is formed on at least one of the color filters.
A method of manufacturing an organic light emitting diode (OLED) display, comprising:
- forming a plurality of color filters on a substrate, wherein a concavo-convex pattern is formed on at least one of the color filters;
- forming a passivation layer on the color filters;
- forming a first electrode on the passivation layer;
- forming a light emitting layer on the first electrode;
- and
- forming a second electrode on the light emitting layer.
