Abstract
A polycarbonate composition includes a terminal hydroxy-containing polycarbonate and a halogen-containing alkali metal tungsten oxide of formula (I) in an amount ranging from 0.007 wt % to 0.09 wt % based on a total weight of the polycarbonate composition. The Formula (I) is represented as follows: MxWO3-yLy (I) where M represents an alkali metal, W represents tungsten, L represents halogen, 0.001≦x≦1, and 0<y≦0.5.

A polycarbonate composition, comprising:
- a terminal hydroxy-containing polycarbonate;
- and
- a halogen-containing alkali metal tungsten oxide of formula (I) in an amount ranging from 0.007 wt % to 0.09 wt % based on a total weight of said polycarbonate composition,
- MxWO3-yLy (I)
- where
- M represents an alkali metal,
- W represents tungsten,
- L represents halogen,
- 0.001≦x≦1, and
- 0<y≦0.5.
