Abstract
An integral multiple of a period of wobbling in a portion other than address information of groove tracks (105, 107) is consistent with a length of one circumference of each of the groove tracks (105, 107), an integral multiple of a period of the address information is consistent with the length of one circumference of each of the groove tracks (105, 107), and pieces of information that differ between adjacent groove tracks (105, 107) among the address information is recorded by a predetermined wobble pattern which at least differs between the adjacent groove tracks (105, 107).
Claims15
An optical disk recording medium which records data, comprising:
- a groove track formed by a groove;
- and
- a land track formed between adjacent groove tracks, wherein
- the groove track records address information representing information on a position within a recording surface of the optical disk recording medium by a predetermined pattern due to wobbling of the groove track,
- an integral multiple of a wobbling period of a portion of the groove track other than the address information is consistent with a length of one circumference of the groove track,
- an integral multiple of a period of the address information is consistent with the length of one circumference of the groove track, and
- pieces of information that differ between adjacent groove tracks among the address information are recorded by at least predetermined wobble patterns that differ between the adjacent groove tracks.
An optical disk device which records data on an optical disk recording medium, comprising:
- a wobble signal detector which detects a wobble signal from the optical disk recording medium;
- a clock generator which generates a clock that is an integral multiple of the wobble signal;
- and
- a recording unit which records the data based on the clock generated by the clock generator, wherein
- the optical disk recording medium includes:
- a groove track formed by a groove;
- and
- a land track formed between adjacent groove tracks, and wherein
- the groove track records address information representing information on a position within a recording surface of the optical disk recording medium by a predetermined pattern due to wobbling of the groove track,
- an integral multiple of a wobbling period of a portion of the groove track other than the address information is consistent with a length of one circumference of the groove track,
- an integral multiple of a period of the address information is consistent with the length of one circumference of the groove track, and
- pieces of information that differ between adjacent groove tracks among the address information are recorded by at least predetermined wobble patterns that differ between the adjacent groove tracks.
A recording method of recording data on an optical disk recording medium, comprising:
- a wobble signal detecting step of detecting a wobble signal from the optical disk recording medium;
- a clock generating step of generating a clock that is an integral multiple of the wobble signal;
- and
- a recording step of recording the data based on the clock generated in the clock generating step, wherein
- the optical disk recording medium includes:
- a groove track formed by a groove;
- and
- a land track formed between adjacent groove tracks, and wherein
- the groove track records address information representing information on a position within a recording surface of the optical disk recording medium by a predetermined pattern due to wobbling of the groove track,
- an integral multiple of a wobbling period of a portion of the groove track other than the address information is consistent with a length of one circumference of the groove track,
- an integral multiple of a period of the address information is consistent with the length of one circumference of the groove track, and
- pieces of information that differ between adjacent groove tracks among the address information are recorded by at least predetermined wobble patterns that differ between the adjacent groove tracks.
