## Abstract

The present invention relates to network enabled analysis of x-ray images. Also described are devices that include calibration phantoms, methods of using these devices, methods of formulating databases containing information regarding x-ray images, the databases themselves, methods of manipulating the information and databases, and methods of analyzing electronic image data of a patient.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method for analyzing, in a networked computer system, electronic image data of a patient, comprising:
transmitting the electronic image data through the networked computer system;
obtaining two dimensional or three dimensional morphology of an anatomic structure from the electronic image data;
obtaining one or more parameters regarding the anatomic structure from the morphology; and
transmitting a diagnostic report based on the one or more parameters.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the anatomic structure is a bone of the patient.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The method of claim 2, wherein the one or more parameters are selected from the group consisting of trabecular spacing, trabecular thickness, intertrabecular space, and any combination thereof.
