(canceled) ### Claim 10 An information processing apparatus comprising: a display device configured to display a selection window for selecting a print setting item to be controlled to a state in which an option is unmodifiable to another option from among a plurality of print setting items included in a user interface of a device driver; and a creation unit configured to create a file for installing a device driver in which a selection via the selection window is reflected, wherein, in response to an instruction for installing the device driver using the file created by the creation unit, a device driver in which an option of the print setting item selected via the selection window is unmodifiable to another option is installed based on the file created by the creation unit. ### Claim 11 (depends on 10) The apparatus according to claim 10, wherein the creation unit creates a file in which a default value selected by the user is reflected in the print setting items included in the user interface. ### Claim 12 (depends on 10) The apparatus according to claim 10, further comprising a second selection unit configured to select a printer to be customized. ### Claim 13 (depends on 10) The apparatus according to claim 10, wherein, when the apparatus reads the file created by the creation unit and receives an instruction for displaying version information of the device driver, the display device displays information indicating that the device driver has been customized. ### Claim 14 A method performed by an information processing apparatus, the method comprising steps of: displaying a selection window for selecting a print setting item to be controlled to a state in which an option is unmodifiable to another option from among a plurality of print setting items included in a user interface of a device driver; and creating a file for installing a device driver in which a selection via the selection window is reflected, wherein, in response to an instruction for installing the device driver using a file created in the creating step, a device driver in which an option of the print setting item selected via the selection window is unmodifiable to another option is installed based on the file created in the creating step. ### Claim 15 (depends on 14) The method according to claim 14, wherein the creating step includes creating a file in which a default value selected by the user is reflected in the print setting items included in the user interface. ### Claim 16 (depends on 14) The method according to claim 14, further comprising a step of selecting a printer to be customized. ### Claim 17 (depends on 14) The method according to claim 14, wherein, when the apparatus reads the file created in the creating step and receives an instruction for displaying version information of the device driver, the displaying step causes a display device to display information indicating that the device driver has been customized. ### Claim 18 A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing computer code that when executed causes an information processing method to be performed by a computer of an information processing apparatus, wherein the method comprises steps of: displaying a selection window for selecting a print setting item to be controlled to a state in which an option is unmodifiable to another option from among a plurality of print setting items included in a user interface of a device driver; and creating a file for installing a device driver in which a selection via the selection window is reflected, wherein, in response to an instruction for installing the device driver using a file created in the creating step, a device driver in which an option of the print setting item selected via the selection window is unmodifiable to another option is installed based on the file created in the creating step. ### Claim 19 (depends on 18) The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to claim 18, wherein the creating step includes creating a file in which a default value selected by the user is reflected in the print setting items included in the user interface. ### Claim 20 (depends on 18) The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to claim 18, wherein the method further comprises a step of selecting a printer to be customized. ### Claim 21 (depends on 18) The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to claim 18, wherein, when the apparatus reads the file created in the creating step and receives an instruction for displaying version information of the device driver, the displaying step causes a display device to display information indicating that the device driver has been customized.
