## Abstract

An information processing apparatus includes a display, a detector, a display controller, a display region changing unit, and an editing execution unit. The detector detects plural touches made by an indicator on a screen of the display. The display controller causes the screen to display a first element and a second element, the second element being arranged on the first element. The display region changing unit changes, if a predetermined type of change occurs in a touch position of the indicator, a display region in which the first element and the second element are displayed on the screen, in accordance with the change. The editing execution unit executes, after a first touch position and a second touch position have been detected, if a predetermined type of change occurs in the second touch position with the first touch position being maintained, editing associated with the change on the second element.

## Claims

### Claim 1

An information processing apparatus comprising:
a display;
a detector that detects a plurality of touches made by an indicator on a screen of the display;
a display controller that causes the screen to display a first element and a second element, the second element being arranged on the first element;
a display region changing unit that, if a predetermined type of change occurs in a touch position of the indicator, changes a display region in which the first element and the second element are displayed on the screen, in accordance with the change; and
an editing execution unit that, after a first touch position and a second touch position have been detected, if a predetermined type of change occurs in the second touch position with the first touch position being maintained, executes editing associated with the change on the second element,
wherein the editing includes moving of the second element on the first element.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The information processing apparatus according to claim 1,
wherein the change in the touch position for changing the display region is identical to the change in the second touch position for executing editing of the second element.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The information processing apparatus according to claim 1,
wherein, after the first touch position has been detected at a position different from a position of the second element, if the second touch position is moved from a position on the second element to a certain position outside the second element with the first touch position being maintained, the editing execution unit moves the second element to the certain position.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The information processing apparatus according to claim 1,
wherein, after the first touch position has been detected at a position different from a position of the second element, if the second touch position is moved from a position on the second element to a predetermined position with the first touch position being maintained, the editing execution unit deletes the second element.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The information processing apparatus according to claim 1,
wherein, after the first touch position has been detected on the second element, if the second touch position is moved from a position on the second element to a certain position outside the second element with the first touch position being maintained, the editing execution unit duplicates the second element at the certain position.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The information processing apparatus according to claim 1,
wherein the editing execution unit stops editing the second element if the first touch position stops being detected before editing of the second element has been completed.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The information processing apparatus according to claim 1,
wherein, after the first touch position has been detected at a position different from a position of the second element, if the second touch position and a third touch position are rotated on the second element with the first touch position being maintained, the editing execution unit rotates the second element.

### Claim 8

An information processing method comprising:
detecting a plurality of touches made by an indicator on a screen of a display;
causing the screen to display a first element and a second element, the second element being arranged on the first element;
changing, if a predetermined type of change occurs in a touch position of the indicator, a display region in which the first element and the second element are displayed on the screen, in accordance with the change; and
executing, after a first touch position and a second touch position have been detected, if a predetermined type of change occurs in the second touch position with the first touch position being maintained, editing associated with the change on the second element,
wherein the editing includes moving of the second element on the first element.

### Claim 9

A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program causing a computer to execute a process, the process comprising:
detecting a plurality of touches made by an indicator on a screen of a display;
causing the screen to display a first element and a second element, the second element being arranged on the first element;
changing, if a predetermined type of change occurs in a touch position of the indicator, a display region in which the first element and the second element are displayed on the screen, in accordance with the change; and
executing, after a first touch position and a second touch position have been detected, if a predetermined type of change occurs in the second touch position with the first touch position being maintained, editing associated with the change on the second element,
wherein the editing includes moving of the second element on the first element.

### Claim 10

An information processing apparatus comprising:
a touch panel that detects a plurality of touch positions of a finger;
a display controller that causes the touch panel to display document data and annotation data, the annotation data being attached to the document data;
a display region changing unit that, if a touch position of the finger moves on the touch panel, performs scrolling, scaling up, scaling down, or page turning on the document data in accordance with the movement; and
a moving unit that, after a touch position of a first finger for the document data and a touch position of a second finger for the annotation data have been detected, if the touch position of the second finger moves on the touch panel with the touch position of the first finger being maintained, moves the annotation data on the document data in accordance with the movement.
