The hand support member is positioned generally parallel to the opening defined by the upper edge of the side wall. ## Claims ### Claim 1 A compound container, comprising: a container body having a side wall and a bottom wall; an interior space defined by the side wall and the end wall; an opening defined by an upper edge of the side wall; and an elongated hand support member having a first attachment section and a second attachment section for attaching the hand support member to a bottom surface of the bottom wall, wherein the hand support member is positioned generally parallel to the opening defined by the upper edge of the side wall. ### Claim 2 (depends on 1) The compound container of claim 1, wherein the hand support member is made of an elastic material. ### Claim 3 (depends on 1) The compound container of claim 1, wherein the hand support member includes an expansion rib. ### Claim 4 (depends on 1) The compound container of claim 1, further comprising: at least a side stand connected to the side wall, wherein the side stand is sized to allow the bottom wall to be spaced away from a surface, when the compound container is placed on the surface. ### Claim 5 (depends on 4) The compound container of claim 4, wherein the side stand includes a stand leg and a tool holder configured for holding a hand tool. ### Claim 6 (depends on 5) The compound container of claim 5, wherein the tool holder has a friction holding tab, a top of the friction holding tab having a tongue extending toward the container body. ### Claim 7 (depends on 3) The compound container of claim 3, wherein the side wall comprises: first and second end panels positioned generally opposite to each other, and first and second side walls extending between the first and second end panels, the first and second side panels being positioned generally opposite to each other ### Claim 8 (depends on 7) The compound container of claim 7, the container body includes: a rounded corner formed between the first side panel and the bottom wall; and an edged corner formed between the second side panel and the bottom wall. ### Claim 9 (depends on 7) The compound container of claim 7, wherein the container body includes: a first edged corner formed between the first side panel and the bottom wall; and a second edged corner formed between the second side panel and the bottom wall. ### Claim 10 (depends on 7) The compound container of claim 7, the container body includes: a first rounded corner formed between the first side panel and the bottom wall; and a second rounded corner formed between the second side panel and the bottom wall. ### Claim 11 (depends on 7) The compound container of claim 7, wherein at least one of the side panels has a lip extending outwardly from a top edge of the side panel, the lip having a scraping blade slot for receiving a scraping blade. ### Claim 12 (depends on 11) The compound container of claim 11, further comprising a removable scraping blade disposed in the scraping blade slot. ### Claim 13 (depends on 1) The compound container of claim 1, wherein when the compound container is stacked with another compound container, the bottom wall, the hand support member, and at least a portion of the side wall is received in an interior space defined by an side wall and a bottom wall of a container body of the other container. ### Claim 14 A compound container kit, comprising: a container body having a side wall and a bottom wall; an interior space defined by the side wall and the end wall; an opening defined by an upper edge of the side wall; an elongated hand support member having a first attachment section and a second attachment section for attaching the hand support member to a bottom surface of the bottom wall; and instructions for attaching the hand support member to the bottom surface of the bottom wall, wherein the bottom wall is configured generally parallel to the opening defined by the upper edge of the side wall. ### Claim 15 (depends on 14) The compound container of claim 14, wherein the hand support member is made of an elastic material. ### Claim 16 (depends on 14) The compound container of claim 14, wherein the hand support member has an expansion rib. ### Claim 17 (depends on 14) The compound container kit of claim 14, further comprising: at least a side stand connected to the side wall, wherein the side stand is sized to allow the bottom wall to be spaced away from a surface, when the compound container is placed on the surface. ### Claim 18 (depends on 14) The compound container kit of claim 14, wherein the side wall comprises: first and second end panels positioned generally opposite to each other, and first and second side walls extending between the first and second end panels, the first and second side panels being positioned generally opposite to each other ### Claim 19 (depends on 18) The compound container of claim 18, wherein the container body includes: a rounded corner formed between the first side panel and the bottom wall; and an edged corner formed between the second side panel and the bottom wall. ### Claim 20 A method of using a compound container, wherein the compound container comprises: a container body having a side wall and a bottom wall, an opening defined by an upper edge of the side wall; and an elongated hand support member having a first attachment section and a second attachment section for attaching the hand support member to a bottom surface of the bottom wall, the method comprising: extending extend a hand between the hand support member and the bottom surface of the bottom wall; and holding on an outer surface of the side wall to manipulate the orientation of the compound container.
